About Palmyra Academic Press

Palmyra Academic Press publishes peer-reviewed, diamond open-access journals. Its first two journals are in management and the business sciences; journals in the health sciences and engineering are in development. No one pays to publish and no one pays to read.

What we publish

Each journal publishes two issues a year on a continuous schedule. See all of them in Journals A–Z.

How we publish

  • Peer review. Research submissions are reviewed double-anonymised by at least two independent reviewers, after an editorial check of scope, completeness, ethical declarations and similarity.
  • Ethics. The journals follow the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). See the editorial principles and policies.
  • Open access. Articles are free to read immediately and published under CC BY 4.0; authors keep their copyright. See the open-access policy.
  • No shortcuts. We do not sell authorship, guarantee acceptance, charge authors at any stage or expedite review for payment or favour. We do not buy indexing or display purchased "impact factors".

Where the journals stand today

The journals are new and in preparation. They have no ISSN yet: applications go to the ISSN National Centre of India after the first issues are public. They are not yet indexed in any bibliographic database, and no indexing claim appears on this site before it is true. Each journal's Indexing and archiving page gives the current status of every item.

Ownership and funding

Palmyra Academic Press is an imprint of Connexdotz Private Limited (India), the legal publisher of every journal on this site. The press is privately owned and receives no funding from, and has no editorial relationship with, any government, political organisation or commercial sponsor. Editorial decisions rest with the editors alone. The costs of publishing are borne by the publisher.

The editorial boards are being constituted; names appear only after each member has confirmed appointment in writing. Scholars interested in serving as an editor or reviewer are invited to write to editor@palmyrapub.org with a CV and a statement of expertise.
